Solidarity with Ukraine - joint testimony of commitment
ANWIL, as a socially responsible company, has been involved in various charity activities for years, therefore this time it also could not remain indifferent and is engaging in aid activities for Ukrainian refugees.
The company, together with its corporate foundation, first of all takes care of the Ukrainian inhabitants who come to Włocławek - there are more and more such people. In the coming days, our city will receive more refugees fleeing the war in their country.
Responding to the current situation and fulfilling its social mission, the ANWIL Foundation has launched a new aid programme called "Solidarity with Ukraine". The organisation has earmarked PLN 150 thousand for this purpose. The funds will cover the expenses connected with equipping the facility to which the refugees will be relocated. Within the framework of equipping the center, household appliances will be purchased for common kitchen spaces, sanitary ware for bathrooms, and furniture for 33 rooms (including: closets, cabinets, tables, chairs, etc.).
It is worth noting that this is the beginning of aid activities on the part of ANWIL and its Foundation. The refugees will also need dedicated, long-term support in the weeks to come, hence further actions are already being planned, targeted at both children and adults.
ANWIL is also involved in the charitable collection of gifts for the inhabitants of Ukraine who remain in their country. Our employees-volunteers share not only material goods, but also devote their time and organise various initiatives to meet specific needs on an ongoing basis. ANWIL Foundation supports such grassroots employee activities with additional funds for their implementation.
