ANWIL gives customers a ready-made solution to new requirements
The construction materials market is entering a new stage in which transparency and the credibility of environmental data are becoming increasingly important. ANWIL, part of the ORLEN Group and the only producer of suspension polyvinyl chloride (PVC) in Poland, is already providing its customers with ready-made tools that enable them to navigate this new reality safely and efficiently.
The company supports customers in accessing verified environmental data that can be used in reporting processes. EPDs include environmental data in accordance with the applicable methodology for Type III environmental declarations for selected ANWIL products.
A ready-made solution instead of a challenge
Digital product passports are becoming a market standard, requiring companies to provide detailed information about the environmental impact of their products. For many organizations, this represents a significant operational and cost challenge.
ANWIL offers its customers a ready-made tool – EPDs – enabling them to obtain:
- ready-made, certified, and independently verified environmental data,
- information prepared in a format that enables direct use in digital product passports,
- a solution that significantly reduces the need to collect and process data independently.
Comprehensive data for key products
ANWIL has already made environmental declarations available for its most important products in the plastics sector, including all grades of suspension PVC under the Polanvil brand and Creovil compounds.
Each declaration contains a comprehensive set of information on the product’s environmental impact – from emissions and energy consumption to water and raw materials, as well as recycling opportunities. EPD data is one of the tools supporting customers in their own reporting processes.
Credibility that builds a competitive advantage
The information provided by ANWIL not only meets the formal requirements associated with the entry into force of EU Regulation 2024/3110 (the so-called CPR II), but, above all, strengthens customers’ market position by enabling them to prepare the required documentation based on data verified in accordance with the key standards for construction products, ISO 14025:2006 and EN 15804 (+A2).
Thanks to these standards, companies can conduct reliable and credible environmental communication, increase their competitiveness, and better respond to the expectations of investors and business partners.
